Saturday Activities

Part of the Academic Year component of Union College's Upward Bound program is the mandatory Saturday meetings. These meetings focus on particular topics of interest to participants based on the different grade levels, offer academic workshops, provide tutoring opportunities, and usually include a group activity, allowing students the opportunity to socialize while fostering potential mentoring partnerships.

Most recently, seniors and their parents were treated to a timely as well as important workshop on financial aid; juniors participated in a rigorous ACT test prep seminar; and freshmen and sophomores enjoyed a career-go-round of guest speakers discussing their occupations, the education required, and career goals.
