Bonner Program Qualifications

- Acceptance to Union College as full-time undergraduate
- Financial need as determined by the FAFSA
- Top 40% of high school class (incoming students) -or- minimum 2.5 grade point average (upperclassmen)
- Evidence of commitment to service and leadership within community, family, and/or religious institution

Bonner Program Expectations and Requirements

- Maintain good academic standing with Union College
- Appropriate representation of the program on and off campus
- 140 hours of service and enrichment each semester (approximately 10 hours per week)
- 280 hours of service in each of 2 summer non-profit internships, lasting no less than 7 weeks (after sophomore and junior years)
- Weekly training/enrichment meetings
- Class projects
- First-year service trip
- Sophomore service exchange
- Senior Presentation of Learning

- December 1:  Spring Upperclassmen
- March 15: First Priority
- April 1
